He has appeared in many Marathi language films, and stage plays in lead roles, and also in Hindi language TV serials in lead and supporting roles. He came into prominence after Khel Mandala , a movie that garnered many awards and established him as one of the prominent actors in the Marathi film industry.

He has acted in more than 40 films is one of the notable stars in the Marathi Film industry. He landed his first commercial theatre play Happy Birthday in which was directed by Satish Pulekar.
