Daphne brogdon biography channel youtube
Recently, I had the opportunity to interview Daphne Brogdon, a funny, funny woman who has had and continues to have a fascinating career. Much of that career revolves around food. Everyone Around the Table. Daphne was kind enough to share some recipes with us, on both blogs so be sure to try them out. Daphne Brogdon has made her way into the TV chef world in a circuitous, but not completely unlikely way.
She has been a radio show host and producer, TV host, has done improv and standup comedy. Then she met her husband, Mark Peel, a chef. Then one day, an executive from the Food Network left her a message saying they wanted her to call them. Brogdon comes up with her recipes the same way she comes up with a joke. What would that be like? Besides the TV gig, Brogdon continues to help her husband in business development and marketing for his restaurants.
As a media personality,
Lay out a inch-long piece of plastic wrap on a cutting board and drizzle it with a little olive oil. Lay a butterflied chicken breast, cut side up, on the plastic wrap. Fold the plastic wrap over to cover. Fold the plastic wrap open and brush the chicken breast with the molasses; season with generous pinches of fennel, salt and pepper.
